The control over the soul depends on the ability to cast all cares through prayer upon the of God peace(2Th 5:23) because prayer is the platform we receive grace (Zec 12:10) for the peace of our souls. Everyone can pray because prayer is not the expression of our abilities but the expression of our dependance on God's abilities. I have full control over my feelings because I have the power of prayer

It is possible and indeed the wish of God that we will have control over feelings because the prosperity of the soul is seen in the control we have over our feelings.
The control over our emotions is the prosperity of the soul and this depends on the prosperity of our spiritual life.

what we sow is what we sacrifice and what we sacrifice is what we harvest in the end. What we harvest in the end is always greater than what we sowed in the beginning. When we sacrifice our feelings to walk in the spirit we will in the end end up harvesting greater and more pleasurable feelings motivating us to do it. Our feelings depend on our walk in the spirit Pro 18:14 KJV . The way to feel like doing something good is to walk by the spirit or by faith notwithstanding how you feel 2Co 4:13. Then you will begin to feel like doing it.
