It is possible and indeed the wish of God that we will have control over feelings because the prosperity of the soul is seen in the control we have over our feelings.
The control over our emotions is the prosperity of the soul and this depends on the prosperity of our spiritual life.

The control over the soul depends on the ability to cast all cares through prayer upon the of God peace(2Th 5:23) because prayer is the platform we receive grace (Zec 12:10) for the peace of our souls. Everyone can pray because prayer is not the expression of our abilities but the expression of our dependance on God's abilities. I have full control over my feelings because I have the power of prayer

my feelings depends on what I continually set my mind on. I habe full conttrol over my feelings because I have full control over what I set my mind on. Because I set my mind on God's word I have nothing but godly feelings
Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
When I set my mind on Christ and His ability in me I set my eyes on the Spirit and when I set my eyes on the Spirit I allow life and peace to flow into my emotional life.
