The gospel is so simple a foolish person can receive it so that not only the wise but the all people can be saved.
Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said,
The gospel is so simple that wise people would have to become simple in their wisdom in order to receive.
1Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
The gospel of salvation is the least of the wisdom of God but this is higher than the highest wisdom found in men.

Men accomplished great and seeming impossible things only through faith and not through reasoning.

1Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
The soul or reasoning cannot receive anything spiritual because the things of the spirit will always be considered as impossible to our reasoning/soul. We need to believe that a thing is possible to receive it.
Galatians 5:25 "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
I have not been called to live a life of reasoning but a life of faith for you need faith to walk in the spirit.
Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
As a child of God I am led by the Spirit through the way of faith in God to accomplish seeming impossible things and not by reasoning to accomplish seeming possible things.
"I can't follow this instruction because I don't see any sense in it"

Instructions are not obeyed because they are sensible but because it is an honour to God

It is more sensible to promote peace between you and authority by obeying senseless instructions than to destroy that peace by disobeying the senseless instructions.
Genesis 11:6 "And the LORD said,
A group will succeed more out of the spirit of oneness and unity; obeying even senseless instructions than from following only reasonable instructions
Titus 3:1 "Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,"
It makes more biblical sense to obey senseless instructions from authorities than to disobey them.No instruction from authority is less sensible than disobeying instructions from authority

True science involves gaining knowledge from God's creations.The bible encourages true science because the bible encourages the gaining of knowledge from God's creations

Science is of God because God uses it to promote true religion
James 1:17 ,17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.",18 "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."
Science is from God because anything that promotes the the quality of life is from God
Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Science is of God because Christ is the source of all wisdom which includes science

The gospel is greater and higher than the understanding and wisdom of men. It cannot therefore make sense to them
