Prophets speak for God but Jesus speaks as God the latter being the best way God can ever communicate to men which He has done to reveal His glory as the most effectve and efficient communicator. Jesus is able to speak as God because He is the Son of God carrying the exact image and exact nature of God

The purpose and ministry of prophets is basically to reveal who Christ is.This so because Christ is the word of God and prophets declare the word of God Joh 1:1-3 Christ is not just a prophet declaring the word of God but the word of God being declared by prophets
